Thanks, Leanne, I enjoyed the reunion also, more than I had thought I would. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in being there and in visiting with everyone else. Not a whole lot left to prove. It was also nice to see that we have several novelists in our graduating class. Keith Raffel's book DOT.DEAD is on my list to read, as it is set in Palo Alto, our old stomping grounds. And Karen Joy Fowler, who has several books out now, and whose recent book THE JANE AUSTEN BOOK CLUB has been made into a film. I saw the film on the plane trip out to California, not realizing that it was based on a novel written by our classmate. I enjoyed the movie and urge all to see...and to read the book too!
